Biography

Carina A. Ludgate

Carina is a senior brand and communications strategist with over a decade of experience advising executives, founders, and leadership teams in complex organizational environments. Her work centres on positioning, strategic narrative, and leadership communication, helping decision-makers clarify what they stand for, navigate change, and build credibility that lasts.

Her background bridges government, entrepreneurship, and academia. She began her career with the provincial government and Legislative Assembly of Alberta, where she developed a deep understanding of institutional systems and stakeholder dynamics. She later co-founded a boutique agency before establishing her own consultancy, working directly with executive leaders on brand architecture, organizational messaging, and high-stakes communication challenges.

Alongside her consulting practice, Carina teaches media relations, advanced strategic communications, and advanced business writing in MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Communication Studies program. She is currently completing a Master of Arts in Communications and Technology, with research focused on brand loyalty and the psychology of messaging.

Fluent in the language of both strategy and execution, Carina is conversationally bilingual and known for bringing intellectual rigour and practical clarity into every room she enters.

Outside of her professional work, she is an avid reader, a committed fitness enthusiast, and most at home outdoors, whether training, exploring, or spending time with animals. As a lululemon Legacy Ambassador, she continues to advocate for strength, discipline, and long-term well-being — values that parallel her approach to leadership and brand building.
